Here's a thought, how much does it depend on cheap labor from the
south. If Mexico tap into it's oil reserve and this create thousand of jobs
ending the flow of illegal immigrants, why not. Here in California we are
paying 5 bucks a gallon for gas. If this happen Mexico will have to close it borders.

The fool did not backdown from his comment on McCain. Every veteran that
have served is a hero, that is true but how many spent 5 years in the Hanoi Hilton.

The internet have opened a lot of folks eyes. Today if you receive a unknown
phone call, bring the number up on the internet and what will you see, scam,
survey, trip you won to some place that you never enter the contest. If I need
any info on any group, product or service I will check the internet first.
How many people have check the internet about JW's and what do they find.
It's not a case about a few disgruntle individuals, but thousands.
The negative comments that one will find, Holy sh---t this is a cult or they
are a bat sh---t crazy religious group, confirming people suspicion. We all

Family Reuinion and Being Disfellowshipped (sorry...but it's long)
by babygirl30 init has been a long looong time since i posted on here, but never ceased reading all the posts and keeping up on the changes that have been going on!
but it just seems that now i have a need to get something off my chest, and this is the one place that will most definitely understand the topic at hand.
i have been disfellowshipped for about 8yrs now, and have dealt with the 'consequences' of that decision: all my so-called friends in the org left and i was also abandoned by my own family.

The family reunion ended when my none JW family found out that I was being
shunned . They kept asking why James(me) never show up for family gathering.
Like you I said I'm not staying away from family gathering. So what happen,
the none JW family members said, if James is not invited we will not attend.
This have been going on for over 20 years. They have their family reunion and we
have ours, which is much larger. Thank God all my family didn't become JW's..
